黄子鵬，一位出生在南台灣美麗港都高雄的棒球員，屬於「側投」類型之投手。 從小受到熱愛台灣職棒的爸爸耳濡目染之下開始接觸棒球，父親也因而發現他的棒球天賦。

4 A, P: f' i" A6 U2 o小學四年級那年，爸媽讓他轉入培育棒球選手的國小接受正規的訓練，就此展開了他人生嶄新的棒球歴險。直至高中時期，經由教練嚴選之下，子鵬雀屏中選參加了郭源治棒球訓練營。

憑藉自己努力不懈、絕不放棄的精神與極具天份的領悟力也獲得郭教練的讚賞和鼓勵。 雖然高中時曾因疲勞和投球用力過度而拉傷手臂，毅然決然地暫時休投一年，卻絲毫不影響子鵬日後的球季表現；反而更讓他體現自身對棒球的堅持與鬥志，學會保護自己，同時也能發揮百分百的投手實力。: b+ q; g {7 b% V

復原後的高度戰鬥力，讓子鵬在2011年時當選【小馬聯盟帕馬級青棒國手】，隔年則獲得2012年IBAF世界青棒國手資格並代表國家出戰，為台灣奪下耀眼的成績。學生時期，身為中華代表隊冠軍隊一員的子鵬，並沒有因此而自滿，而是更加堅定地要往更高層級的路邁進。

. M: m$ w' y/ j! X2 ~+ d2017年受到中華職棒Lamigo的親睞，在進入職棒的第二年(2019年)更以23次中繼成功拿下中繼王。1 R: @: _4 z/ [; _% |, n' c
/ |+ v) n% a X& n5 |- @1 c; |5 [2020年，教練團季前一度有意安排黃子鵬轉任先發，但最後仍回任牛棚，繳出登板59場、18次中繼成功的好表現；2021年，黃子鵬正式轉任先發投手，為球隊拿下九勝，並於在4月15日對味全龍隊投出一場108球完封勝，成為中職史上第4位奪下完封勝的低肩投手，更於8月獲選中華職棒當月MVP，當年為球隊創下年度九勝的好成績。/ X% y4 Y D) z) S5 j: ^
) @2 v8 r) s9 B6 h4 _4 V2022年，黃子鵬拿下中職的防禦率王，先發24場，投球局數158.2，防禦率2.33，被視為是本土的王牌投手。3 t( n |2 R; W0 S
