人民币用的钞票纸是水印纸，它是一种用于钞票印刷的专用纸张。1 O# q. X4 L0 {7 b; ?
这种纸只有天朝印钞造币总公司下属的三家钞票纸厂有资格生产，
/ @# Z. O. Q; K) h4 L5 ]其中一家就是苏州昆山钞票纸厂。
?, I3 _ C7 h7 p2 c, Z]( Y7 d# s2 Y3 _9 r/ V2 ^
昆山钞票纸厂位于苏州昆山经济技术开发区，职工近千人，+ D- D6 }- {, w2 D3 ]- Q
拥有四条国际先进水平的钞票纸生产线，
+ k0 A# K4 M3 ^ T! h每年各大印钞厂印制钞票所使用的印钞纸有近三分之一都是由它提供的。
