菲尔·赫尔穆特（Phil Hellmuth），德州扑克超级玩家，至今赢得了13个WSOP手镯，WOSP历史冠军次数记录保持者，2007年入选扑克名人堂。
Phil Hellmuth在24岁时参加1989年WSOP主赛事，击败了Johnny Chan成为当时WSOP历史上最年轻的主赛事冠军。Hellmuth的记录保持了19年。直到2008年，22岁的Peter Eastgate成为最年轻的主赛事冠军。接下来，Joe Cada打破Peter Eastgate的记录，在21岁那年成为2009年WSOP的主赛事冠军。
Hellmuth是目前WSOP金手镯的数目最多的选手，达到了13条。他也是进入钱圈次数最多的选手，共95次。由于在桌上打牌的脾气，特别是在经过爆冷之后的爆脾气，他以“扑克顽童” 的外号著称
Phil Hellmuth，出生于威斯康星州的麦迪森，父亲是威斯康星一所大学的教授，家中兄妹五人。他小时候的大部分时间也是上学，做家庭作业以及其他一些与学习相关的任务，中学毕业后他到威斯康兴州立大学继续学习。在校期间开始玩一些低注额的现金游戏。这是他在扑克方面的天赋慢慢展现出来。
他每周参加几次锦标赛，并从中完善他的技巧。他甚至和他的老师一起玩牌，尽管他的老师想赢他，但是Phil是如此敏锐，从未输他的给老师。到大学毕业前他还清了所有的助学贷款，并且还有了$20000的积蓄。他就在周末跑到Las Vegas玩扑克。 他很快认识到玩DC游戏很有乐趣，如色子或二十一点等等……毕竟是初来乍到，钱一下子就输光了，这激起了他要好好提升打扑克实力的决心。
在1988年，他又跑到Vegas碰运气并获得了成功。他在WSOP有限注7张牌梭哈高/低中获得第5名并在无限注德州扑克的主赛上获得第33名。同年他放弃了学业，成为了一名职业的扑克玩家。从此，他辉煌的扑克道路展开了。
1989年24岁的Hellmuth与卫冕冠军Johnny Chan 进行单挑，最后赢得了比赛的胜利，成为当时最年轻的WSOP主赛事冠军。这个记录被保持了相当长的一段时间，直到22岁的Peter Eastgate得到2008年WSOP主赛事冠军才重新刷新了由Hellmuth创造的记录。
2007年Hellmuth赢得了他的第11个WSOP手镯， Hellmuth的手镯全部是在德州扑克比赛中获得的。另外Hellmuth还保持着进入钱圈和决赛桌次数最多的记录。在WSOP理解比赛中Hellmuth供赢得了$6 106 838，在WSOP中奖金名单中排名第九。Hellmuth也参加WPT赛事，虽然没有拿到过冠军头衔，但是11次进圈和3次最终桌也可以称得上是不错战绩。[1]
2008年10月，Hellmuth创立了线上扑克装备网站。扑克爱好者可以从中挑选自己中意的扑克书籍，DVD等。网址为。2009年5月，Hellmuth发行了一本新书：Deal Me In，该书收录了20位顶级扑克玩家的扑克故事！Hellmuth还是一位扑克传道者。他已经发布了Ultimate White To Black Belt Course 和Phil Hellmuth's Million Dollar Poker System系列的教学视频。
他还为Cardplayer magazine（牌手）和很多扑克杂志撰写专栏文章。Hellmuth至今编辑并出版的书籍包括Play Poker like the Pros, Bad Beats and Lucky Draws, The Greatest Poker Hands ever Played和 Poker Brat。其中Poker Brat是一本自传体小说，写了他自己的扑克故事和一些对扑克玩家的建议，据说，每条建议都价值千金！
